Three year old Madison Merrick was born with a condition called Gastroschisis

A serious hernia in which the bowel is on the outside of the body. In June 2012, her Mum Alana, was told that Madiee desperately needs to undergo a small intestine transplant - an operation not available in New Zealand. Without this operation Madiee will die. As at April 2013, the Ministry of Health has approved funding for Madiee's transplant operation in Birmingham Children Hospital, UK however relocation and other living expenses are not covered. We urgently need to raise the funds needed to cover these expenses of both Madiee and Alana whilst there. Please join us and help give Madiee a life outside of hospital, where she will be free to enjoy the same things as other children her age.

Madiee... new journey in UK

17/5/2013 Madison and Alana are on their way to a new start in life, but they still need help to cover the cost of living in the UK while waiting for, during and after the transplant. These expenses are not funded by the government or any organisation.
Can you spare $3? Just $3 from 40,000 people out of the 4,466,928 we have in NZ, is not even 1% of the population, but would raise $120,000. Such a small amount from a small number of people would make a HUGE difference!
Please text the keyword 'GIVE' to 4462 to make an instant $3 donation. ♥ ♥ ♥

The Madison Merrick Story
Madiee was born on Friday the 18th September 2009. A scan 14 weeks into the pregnancy showed that Madiee had Gastroschisis - an opening in the abdominal wall which appears while the baby is developing during pregnancy.
The abnormality results in the small and large intestine sitting outside the the abdominal wall.
